Cover seals are designed to provide reliable sealing solutions, especially in situations with static seal gaps, pressure variations, or the need to prevent leakage and contamination.
Rotary seals are designed to seal the pressurized hydraulic fluid against the atmosphere, preventing leakage and pollution of the environment or to transfer liquids and/or gases from a stationary part into or out of rotating machinery. This is double acting rotary seal with interference of the O-ring on the OD and no Interference of the BFT on the ID.
Quad rings nearly have the same sealing principle as the O-ring sealing. However, they provide less friction than the conventional O-ring and there is no spiral twist. It eliminates the tendency to roll in the groove. The sealing is achieved by the diametrical squeeze in a right angled groove. The system pressure creates a positive sealing force.
This is a profile which is an excellent replacement for o-rings and backup ring combinations. For non standard grooves they provide an excellent sealing in high pressure and wear applications.
O-Rings are the simplest form of sealing that are used in both dynamic as well as static applications. For dynamic applications they are used in rotary as well as axial applications. The selection of o-rings depends on temperature, pressure and fluid.
Oil Seals are used in machines with rotary movement. The perform two functions, firstly prevent leakage of oil / lubrication from inside and second prevent entry of dust and foreign matter. They are designed as per the temperature and surface speed requirements.
Piston Seals are used in Hydraulic Cylinders for Fluid Sealing. They allow in pressure building on one side of the piston for extension / retraction. They are placed between the piston and the bore. Seals from Bore dia 5 mm to 850 mm are manufactured as per customer specific pressure/ temperature / surface speed / fluid requirements.
